Expanding across the nation
The mission of Marksmanship USA is to cultivate “freedom through discipline” by introducing young Americans to the rifle, pistol and shotgun sports in the tradition of our nation’s heritage and the rights secured by the Second Amendment. By embracing the spirit of competition—from high-school and collegiate teams to Junior Olympic and Paralympic events—these shooting disciplines serve as platforms for self-control, focus and mastery of skill.
Teaching Marksmanship where it all began
The Indiana Marksmanship Education Center in Fort Wayne builds on the strong foundation established by The X Count, the original home of a movement that has since grown into a national network of affiliated marksmanship academies. Carrying forward the proud tradition of “freedom through discipline” born here, the Center upholds the same high standards of performance that young Hoosier competitors have long demonstrated at events such as the Junior Olympic Qualifiers (Rifle and Pistol), the ISRPA State Championship & Midwest Regional, and Jr. Air Nationals. Through this legacy, the Indiana Marksmanship Education Center continues to inspire disciplined training, competitive excellence, and a lifelong respect for the shooting sports.
70,000 sqft “Passion Project”
The Missouri Marksmanship Education Center stands as a bold vision brought to life, a state-of-the-art training and competition facility dedicated to developing the next generation of marksmanship athletes. An ambitious idea to transform a warehouse into a premier air-gun and smallbore range has become a reality, built through persistence, collaboration, and an unwavering belief in the mission. MMEC now serves as a true home for training, competition, and athlete development, including hosting major events like collegiate pistol nationals. The Missouri Marksmanship Education Center represents a long-term investment in the sport’s future, instilling discipline, confidence, and opportunity for athletes from Missouri and across the country.
